Revisiting Lullabies for Astronauts

In 2018 I released my first two solo ukulele albums, containing pieces I had been working in recent years. 10 minutos para ukelele solo was the first collection where I included a PDF sheet music book.

The second one, Lullabies for Astronauts, features 10 original lullabies, and again, a book of tablatures (for the first time in print!). I still play recurrently many of the included tunes, but I haven’t published any new recording of them since the original album release.

Let’s fix that! The album opens with Nana para Greta (one of my brother’s nephews). It has an air of adventure I like very much.

Another tune I’ve recently re-recorded is Canción de cuna para mi bemol (difficult to translate wordplay, akin to ‘Lullaby for (my) E flat’. This one is truly somniferous, it’s even difficult to play it fully while keeping the eyelids open!
